We are seeking a talented Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in UK Engineering Design - MEP and Electrical Design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical design process for MEP projects, from concept through to completion
• Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for electrical systems
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration of electrical design with other disciplines
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing electrical systems and provide recommendations for improvements
• Assist in the development of cost estimates and project schedules
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in the development of their technical skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred
• Proven experience in UK Engineering Design - MEP, with a focus on electrical systems
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical calculation tools
• Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulations related to electrical design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Day to Day:

• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems with overall building design
• Conduct technical reviews of electrical designs and provide guidance for necessary revisions
• Communicate with clients and project managers to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise
• Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve electrical design processes
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines
