Quantity Surveyor

We are actively recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 Multidisciplinary Disciplinary National Main Contractor based in Glasgow who are looking for two Project Quantity Surveyors to work on public sector projects in West Central Scotland. Project typically range between £30m to £50m.

 

Your responsibilities will involve:

  • Overseeing costs and creating comprehensive project cost plans.
  • Handling commercial aspects of ongoing projects.
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure clarity on all financial and commercial matters.
  • Engaging with design and operational teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Managing the procurement process for subcontractors.
  • Preparing valuations, generating commercial reports, and identifying variations.

 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified within relevant subject (Quantity Surveying).
  • Exposure working within a recognised contractor on high value projects. 
  • Team player who will work closely with the commercial team
  • Good communications skills and the ability to liaise with all project team members effectively
