About the Role

We’re looking for a CAD Technician to join our friendly and growing structural engineering team in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated technician who enjoys working on a wide variety of structural projects within a collaborative and professional environment.

As part of our close-knit team, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and supporting engineers throughout all project stages — from concept design through to detailed construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate structural drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD.

• Work closely with engineers to develop design solutions for a range of building and infrastructure projects.

• Ensure drawings meet company standards and project specifications.

• Assist in coordinating designs with architects, contractors, and other consultants.

• Contribute to maintaining efficient CAD processes and drawing libraries.

About You

• Experience as a CAD Technician within a structural or civil engineering consultancy.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience beneficial but not essential).

• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small team.

• Motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
