Estimating / Development Manager

The have an opportunity for an experienced Estimating professional to join their team.
Reporting to the land Director, you will support a range of estimating and commercial activities across land acquisition and early project stages. The role will involve contributing to cost planning, financial appraisals, and budget development, as well as working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are commercially viable and well-informed from inception through to commencement.
You will also play a key role in reviewing design information, obtaining and assessing subcontractor input, supporting value-engineering exercises, and assisting with the preparation and handover of project budgets. In addition, the role will provide support in the preparation of land bid and contractual documentation.
About You
You will be a motivated and organised individual with experience in estimating or surveying within a construction or housebuilding environment. A relevant qualification is desirable, along with a solid understanding of construction processes and cost management. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
You should be comfortable working with standard office software and liaising with a range of stakeholders, bringing a proactive and solutions-focused approach to your work.
Salary to £75k + car/ allowance
