A leading consultancy is seeking a Transport Engineer to join their established and growing team. This is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of transport and infrastructure projects, from local access assessments to strategic development sites. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design transport infrastructure schemes using AutoCAD

• Undertake road network and junction capacity analysis

• Prepare technical documents such as Transport Assessments, Access Appraisals, and Travel Plans

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

• Experience in transport engineering or development planning

• Proficient in modelling software such as Junctions 9, LINSIG, TRANSYT (Paramics Discovery desirable)

• Knowledge of SCOTS/DMRB road design standards

• Strong AutoCAD skills

• Working knowledge of sustainable transport planning

• Membership of a professional body (e.g. ICE or CIHT), ideally working toward chartered or incorporated status

• Postgraduate qualifications in transport-related subjects are advantageous
