Site Engineer

Site Engineer – Civils 
Location: Based in Blantyre, with projects across Scotland 
Salary: Competitive + Company Car/Allowance + Benefits 

We are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a range of infrastructure and groundworks projects across Scotland. Known for their quality-driven approach and strong reputation in the market, they’re seeking a Site Engineer to join their growing team. 

The Role: 
You’ll support the delivery of key civil infrastructure projects including earthworks, road construction, reinforced concrete structures, and drainage works. Working closely with the Site and Project Management teams, you’ll be involved in all aspects of engineering from setting out to quality assurance and site coordination. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Setting out, surveying, and managing technical aspects on-site 

  • Prepare and manage key project documents – RAMS, ITPs, WPPs, permits, etc. 

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards 

  • Assist with subcontractor management and progress tracking 

  • Liaise with stakeholders and attend pre-start and progress meetings 

  • Maintain accurate project records and support cost control 
     

Requirements: 

  • HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering 

  • Solid setting out and site engineering experience 

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office 

  • Valid CSCS card and full driving licence 

  • SMSTS preferred but not essential 

  • Willingness to travel and work shifts/weekends where required
