Role Overview: Site Agent
As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple civil engineering projects across Scotland. This position requires a proactive, safety-conscious, and technically skilled individual to ensure projects are executed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee all daily operations on site, ensuring progress in line with programme milestones.

Reporting: Provide accurate weekly updates to the Contracts Manager, detailing progress, risks, and site issues.

Team Oversight: Support and manage Sub Agents and site personnel, ensuring effective task delegation and performance monitoring.

Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain and enforce high safety standards and procedures across all site activities.

Programme Delivery: Work collaboratively to deliver projects according to agreed schedules using Microsoft Project and NEC contract management.

Coordination: Liaise with stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to required specifications and in compliance with design standards.
Requirements:

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Site Agent role within the civil engineering sector.

Strong understanding of NEC contracts and experience using Microsoft Project.

Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
-
Flexibility to travel and work across various project locations in Scotland.
