We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Electrical Engineer to join our clients growing Data Center Design Team. This is a lead key strategic hire and will require experience both Technically as Managerially within the DC sector. The role will offer significant career development opportunities.

From initial site selection and master planning through to detailed design, construction, and commissioning, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver resilient, sustainable, and cutting-edge mission-critical facilities. You'll tackle some of today's biggest engineering challenges, including AI-driven power demands, grid capacity constraints, and the evolution of next-generation data center campuses.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for Client Management and Engagement throughout the project phases
- Lead the electrical design of world-class data center projects from concept through construction and commissioning.
- Develop innovative power distribution and infrastructure solutions for mission-critical environments.
- Produce and oversee conceptual, schematic, and detailed designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Lead and mentor teams of electrical engineers and designers while collaborating closely with mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.
- Prepare technical specifications, bid packages, and review contractor submittals.
- Conduct due diligence studies, technical evaluations, cost-benefit analyses, and total cost of ownership assessments.
- Perform and review power system studies, including short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analyses.
- Partner with clients to understand their needs, develop proposals, and contribute to business development activities.
- Support commissioning activities to ensure designs are delivered and perform as intended.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within mission-critical facilities or data center environments.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit with the ability to independently develop and execute designs.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, building codes, and industry standards.
- Experience with short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license essential
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel approximately 20% for project and site visits.
