About the Role

They are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead the delivery of a major package within a nationally significant flagship healthcare project.

This is a key role focused on technical design and site delivery across RIBA Stages 4 and 5, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and coordinated project outcomes.

 

You’ll play a pivotal role within a collaborative, design-led environment, contributing to a complex and high-profile scheme.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage an architectural team delivering detailed design and construction information

Oversee production and coordination of work across RIBA Stages 4 and 5

Ensure quality control of drawings, specifications, and technical submissions

Apply current design techniques, systems, and materials in line with Design Management guidelines

Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, British Standards, CDM 2015, and the Building Safety Act 2022

Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors

Coordinate architectural design with MEP, structural, and specialist teams

Support contract administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, and site queries

Contribute to the development of internal systems and technical knowledge

Mentor and support junior team members

 

Skills & Experience

ARB registered Architect

5–10+ years’ post-Part 3 experience

Proven experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 4 and 5

Strong technical design, detailing, and construction package experience

Proficiency in Revit (essential)

Experience working within a BIM Level 2 environment

Confident in client-facing situations and presentations

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

Experience in healthcare projects (desirable)

Knowledge of HTMs, HBNs, or SHFNs (desirable)

Experience with contract administration (NEC contracts desirable)

Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions
