The Role

An established main contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team due to a strong pipeline of secured work.

This is a predominantly office-based role (4.5 days per week), supporting the delivery of projects across the Tayside region. The position offers excellent exposure to a range of project types and contract forms, making it ideal for someone looking to further develop their commercial experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the commercial management of projects from start to finish
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Assisting with cost planning, valuations, and variations
• Monitoring project costs and reporting
• Supporting the preparation of final accounts
• Working closely with site and project teams

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant QS within a main contractor environment
• Good understanding of construction contracts
• Strong numerical and commercial awareness
• Keen to develop and progress within a growing business
