Quantity Surveyor – Construction
Location: Motherwell, UK

We’re working with a dynamic construction company delivering quality projects across various sectors. They are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team and support the successful commercial management of their projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.

• Monitor and control project costs to ensure delivery within budget.

• Value engineering and cost control to optimise project spend.

• Prepare tender and contract documentation, including valuations and interim payments.

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve commercial issues.

• Manage subcontractor and supplier contracts and claims.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction.

• Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficient in cost management software and MS Office.

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
