Project Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering
Location: Perth, Scotland (Flexible Working Available)

With a significant pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Perth. The Opportunity
You will play a key role in the commercial management of civil engineering projects, supporting delivery from pre-construction through to final account.
Projects typically include:
- Infrastructure and groundworks
- Roads and highways
- Utilities and drainage
- Large-scale civil engineering schemes
You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Senior Commercial staff to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the commercial management of projects from tender through to completion
- Prepare cost forecasts, budgets, and reports
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and variations
- Support the administration of contracts (NEC experience preferred)
- Monitor project costs and identify risks and opportunities
- Assist with valuations, change control, and final accounts
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and commercial best practice
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
About You
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts is essential
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
Requirements
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a similar role within civil engineering (2.5 years of experience minimum)
- Full UK driving licence
