???? Pre-Construction Commercial Manager

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Pre-Construction professional looking for your next challenge?

We’re looking for a commercially minded Pre-Construction Commercial Manager to join a growing construction team and play a key role in winning and shaping new projects from early-stage tender through to contract award.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a varied project portfolio, partnering with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to develop competitive, commercially sound bids.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing the commercial side of multiple tenders and projects.

• Leading estimating, cost planning and value engineering activities.

• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities to help maximise project value.

• Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.

• Supporting bid strategy, governance and contract handovers.

• Providing clear commercial reporting to senior management.

• Helping improve processes, cost data and lessons learned across the pre-construction function.

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in Quantity Surveying, estimating or pre-construction.

• Experience with a main contractor or developer, ideally across residential and/or wider construction.

• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

• Confident managing multiple bids and deadlines.

• A proactive, ambitious approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
