We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer with expertise in UK Engineering Design - MEP, Electrical Design, and Mechanical Design. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in line with UK engineering regulations and standards.
- Perform detailed Mechanical and Electrical Design, producing plans, schematics, and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration across disciplines.
- Analyze project requirements and develop innovative solutions to complex mechanical engineering challenges.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to evaluate options and make recommendations.
- Prepare cost estimates, technical proposals, and progress reports for stakeholders.
- Use advanced design software, simulations, and modeling tools for design development.
- Ensure designs are compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations, prioritizing sustainable solutions.
- Oversee on-site implementation and provide technical guidance during all project phases, from concept to completion.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with advancements in engineering technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering with a strong focus on UK regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools.
- Solid understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while delivering individual responsibilities efficiently.
Preferred:
- Professional Certification or Chartered Engineer status is a plus.
- Experience with sustainable design practices, such as BREEAM or LEED.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and energy-efficient solutions.

- Troubleshoot design and construction issues, proposing effective solutions.
