FM Managing Surveyor – Facilities Management

We’re working with a leading service provider delivering high-value FM contracts across sectors including retail, education, local authorities, and historic buildings. This role is central to the commercial success of the business—driving P&L performance, leading a commercial team, and building strong client relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing

Oversee all commercial activity across a portfolio of FM contracts (c. £45m+ turnover).

Lead, mentor, and develop a Commercial Team.

Manage client relationships to ensure contract retention and identify new opportunities.

Produce and present monthly commercial and financial reports.

Support tendering activity and contract negotiations.

Draft and manage supply chain contracts to ensure compliance and value for money.

Drive process improvements and resolve complex commercial matters.
What You’ll Bring

Proven commercial management experience within FM or small works.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams.

Excellent client management and relationship-building ability.

Solid financial reporting, contract management, and dispute resolution expertise.

Proactive, analytical, and adaptable approach with strong attention to detail.
