FM Managing Surveyor – Facilities Management

We’re working with a leading service provider delivering high-value FM contracts across sectors including retail, education, local authorities, and historic buildings. This role is central to the commercial success of the business—driving P&L performance, leading a commercial team, and building strong client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee all commercial activity across a portfolio of FM contracts (c. £45m+ turnover).

• Lead, mentor, and develop a Commercial Team.

• Manage client relationships to ensure contract retention and identify new opportunities.

• Produce and present monthly commercial and financial reports.

• Support tendering activity and contract negotiations.

• Draft and manage supply chain contracts to ensure compliance and value for money.

• Drive process improvements and resolve complex commercial matters.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven commercial management experience within FM or small works.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams.

• Excellent client management and relationship-building ability.

• Solid financial reporting, contract management, and dispute resolution expertise.

• Proactive, analytical, and adaptable approach with strong attention to detail.
