Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Managing Estimator to join their team. The successful candidate will lead the estimating function, ensuring accurate, competitive, and profitable bids for a variety of industrial and infrastructure projects. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape the estimating team and influence project strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the estimating team to deliver high-quality, accurate cost estimates.

  • Prepare, review, and submit competitive tenders for industrial and civil infrastructure projects.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure scope, specifications, and budgets are clearly understood.

  • Develop cost models, risk assessments, and pricing strategies for complex projects.

  • Monitor market trends, subcontractor pricing, and material costs to ensure estimates reflect current conditions.

  • Mentor and develop junior estimators, providing guidance on best practices and commercial decision-making.

  • Support business development activities and contribute to long-term growth strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior estimator or managing estimator within industrial or civil infrastructure sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, project budgeting, and tender preparation.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
