Healthcare Sector Leader
The Company
A leading global consultancy is seeking a Healthcare Sector Leader to play a pivotal role in delivering an ambitious growth strategy, they have already achieved significant growth across the US, establishing a design and advisory team generating approximately $100M in annual fees. With a clear strategic vision in place, they are now focused on scaling the business further, with plans to double revenue to over $200M within the next five years. This position will focus on driving business development, strengthening key client relationships, and expanding market presence across the Northeast region.
Working closely with regional market leaders, office directors, and cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will help shape and execute a strategic approach to client engagement and project delivery. The role centres on identifying new opportunities, developing partnerships, and ensuring the successful pursuit of complex, high-value projects across engineering design and advisory services.
This is a highly visible position within the organisation, requiring a commercially astute professional who can leverage industry expertise and a global network to build long-term client relationships and support sustained revenue growth.
The Role
- Developing and managing strategic client and partner relationships
- Leading business development initiatives and aligning services to client needs
- Analysing performance metrics and market trends to inform strategy
- Identifying new opportunities and strengthening competitive positioning
- Representing the organisation at industry events and networking forums
- Collaborating with internal teams to align business development and delivery
- Supporting forecasting and revenue tracking activities
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a high-performing team culture
The Candidate
- Degree-qualified in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Architecture)
- 15+ years’ experience in business development within the AEC sector
- Proven track record in winning complex projects and meeting revenue targets
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience building long-term relationships within the healthcare sector
- Demonstrated leadership and collaborative approach

- Competitive salary ($175,000–$230,000) plus bonus
