A leading consultancy is seeking a Graduate Transport Engineer or Planner to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from small-scale access studies to transport assessments for large strategic developments. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive environment, contributing to the continued success of the transport planning function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare transport infrastructure designs using AutoCAD

• Conduct road network analysis using industry-standard tools

• Assist in producing technical reports including Transport Assessments and Travel Plans

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

• Some experience or academic knowledge in transport planning or traffic engineering

• Familiarity with software such as Junctions 9, LINSIG, TRANSYT (Paramics Discovery desirable)

• Understanding of SCOTS/DMRB road design principles

• Knowledge of sustainable transport planning

• Working proficiency in AutoCAD

• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIHT or ICE) is advantageous

• Postgraduate qualifications (MSc) in transport-related subjects are a bonus
