The Opportunity

An established international engineering and technical consultancy is looking to expand its Fire Engineering capability in Ireland and is interested in speaking with Fire Engineers across a range of experience levels.

The business is open to considering individuals from Fire Engineer level through to experienced Senior, Principal and Associate-level professionals, with responsibilities and package tailored accordingly.

The Role

Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities may include:

• Developing and delivering fire safety strategies
• Preparing fire safety assessments for external wall systems
• Providing fire safety advice to clients and multidisciplinary project teams
• CFD and computational fire modelling
• Structural fire engineering and other specialist technical analysis
• Performance-based fire engineering solutions
• Undertaking site visits and technical inspections where required
• Liaising directly with clients, design teams and other stakeholders
• Preparing technical reports and fee proposals
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers at more senior levels
• Contributing to the continued growth and technical development of the Irish Fire Engineering team

About You

The business is interested in speaking with Fire Engineering professionals across different levels of seniority.

You will ideally have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Structural or Civil Engineering
• Professional experience within Fire Safety / Fire Engineering
• A good understanding of fire engineered solutions and performance-based design
• Strong technical and communication skills
• Experience working independently as well as part of a wider multidisciplinary team
• Membership of, or involvement with, a relevant professional body

For more senior appointments, experience managing projects, developing client relationships, mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth would be particularly valuable.
