Civil Engineer – Site & Civil Team

We're partnering with a well-established engineering and design firm that is growing its Site/Civil team in Texas. With a strong project pipeline spanning private development and commercial sectors across the Dallas–Fort Worth region, this is a great time to join a team that's going places.

What You'll Do

• Design land subdivisions, site development, grading, paving, drainage systems, sewer collection systems, and water distribution systems
• Analyse survey reports, maps, and project data to guide planning decisions
• Weigh up construction costs, regulatory requirements, and environmental considerations during the design phase
• Provide detailed cost estimates for earthworks, materials, equipment, and labour
• Produce complete construction plans using Autodesk Civil 3D
• Build and manage construction schedules using Primavera Project Planner
• Prepare Drainage Reports including hydraulics and hydrology calculations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience creating construction drawings for commercial properties — strip retail centres, restaurants, apartment complexes, medical facilities, and single-family homes
• Ability to perform drainage calculations, including drainage area maps and hydraulic analysis for storm drains
• Experience producing grading plans that meet jurisdictional requirements
• Competency in designing site utilities, including water and sewer systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including pipe networks and grading tools

$120,000 – $170,000 depending on experience
