Development Surveyor

Our client is a leading and well-respected company within the construction sector.

Due to ongoing investment with their people, they now have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join their land development team.

 

The Position

The successful candidate will initially be involved in the following, however there is genuine opportunity in this role for progression and to develop into more senior position with the support of the company:

Take offs using both software and manually.

Assisting with the production of cost plans

Issuing enquiries to supply chain.

Assisting with management of design teams

Assisting with internal financial reporting

Assisting with design and specification review

Taking part in design and client meetings

Liaising with colleagues in Technical & Estimating departments

 

The Person

BSc Quantity Surveying / Building Surveying / Construction Management or in final year of course

Experience undertaking take offs.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel & Outlook

Basic knowledge of residential construction

Motivated and takes initiative.

Conscientious and detail orientated.

Full Driving licence
