# Job Title: Associate Electrical Engineer  

## Overview  
We are seeking a dedicated **Associate Electrical Engineer** to join our innovative and dynamic team specializing in UK Engineering Design - MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services. In this role, you will bring your expertise in Electrical and Mechanical Design to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions for an array of projects. ## Responsibilities  
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver MEP systems, ensuring compliance with UK engineering standards, codes, and regulations.  
- Develop detailed electrical designs, specifications, and drawings for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.  
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems and optimize functionality.  
- Conduct feasibility studies and site surveys to assist in project planning and execution.  
- Perform load calculations, energy analysis, and other key assessments for cost-effective and sustainable building solutions.  
- Review and validate engineering content from contractors, subcontractors, or consultants.  
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered successfully within scope.  
- Support clients by addressing technical queries and offering practical, innovative solutions.  
- Participate in regular project status meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.  
- Stay informed on advancements in electrical and mechanical engineering technologies and incorporate them into innovative designs.  

## Qualifications  
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.  
- Proven experience in UK Engineering Design with a focus on MEP systems.  
- High proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant industry tools.  
- Strong understanding of British Standards (BS), Building Regulations, and sustainable engineering principles.  
- Solid background in mechanical design concepts and how they integrate with electrical systems in the context of building services.  
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.  
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.  
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.  
- Membership or eligibility for professional accreditation (e.g., IET, CIBSE, or similar organizations) is a plus.

## Day-to-Day  
- Design and develop high-quality electrical layouts and schematics for assigned projects.  
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and stakeholders to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.  
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews.  
- Support site visits and provide technical expertise to on-site teams as needed.  
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and address challenges promptly.  
- Identify potential quality or process improvements and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions.  
- Stay updated on trending industry tools and standards, attending relevant training or seminars when necessary.  
- Contribute to a positive team environment by embracing and promoting diverse perspectives and ideas.
