Architectural Technician

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading housebuilder and play a key role in delivering high-quality, commercially successful residential developments. You’ll support planning applications from concept to approval, ensuring designs are both practical and profitable.

The Role

• Produce site layouts and design packages for planning and building approvals
• Coordinate consultants and internal teams to deliver accurate, on-time designs
• Support planning submissions and help secure approvals
• Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and communities
• Ensure schemes are viable, compliant, and aligned with business goals
• Manage design changes, site queries, and technical updates
• Contribute to land appraisals and new development opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline
• Experience within housebuilding or residential development
• Strong knowledge of planning processes and building regulations
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Organised, commercially aware, and confident working with multiple stakeholders
