About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior / Principal Structural Engineer to lead high-profile projects and provide technical leadership across our team. This role is ideal for someone with extensive expertise in structural design, project management, and client engagement, looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic consultancy.

You will oversee the delivery of complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the growth of the business through technical excellence and client relationship development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex structural engineering projects from concept to completion.

  • Provide technical direction and ensure the highest quality of design work.

  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers in their professional development.

  • Liaise directly with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver value-driven solutions.

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

  • Contribute to business development and strategic planning initiatives.

About You

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) with extensive experience in structural design and project leadership.

  • Proven track record delivering large-scale or technically complex projects.

  • Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, and composite structures.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Commercially aware with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Passionate about mentoring and developing engineering talent.
