Estimator

Location: Central Scotland
Salary: Competitive + Package (Flexible DOE)

We’re working with a specialist joinery and fit-out contractor who partner with leading Tier 1 main contractors across the UK. They’re seeking an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team, playing a key role in pricing and delivering high-quality tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates from first principles across joinery and interior fit-out packages.

• Accurately price partitions, ceilings, doors, and associated finishes.

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to identify cost efficiencies.

• Liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders to support high-quality tender submissions.

• Contribute to value engineering and commercial strategy discussions.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the joinery or fit-out sector.

• Strong technical understanding of partitions, ceilings, doors, and finishes.

• Ability to price from first principles.

• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.

• Commercially astute with strong attention to detail.

• Confident liaising with clients, contractors, and supply chain partners.
