Architectural Technician / Design Manager

Location: Edinburgh
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

We’re working with a family-owned Tier 1 national build contractor delivering a major commercial project based in Edinburgh, with a programme running until the end of 2027.

They’re seeking an Architectural Technician (from a consultancy background) or a Design Manager (from a main contracting environment) to join their on-site team and play a key role in driving project delivery.

Key Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Architecture or an equivalent discipline.

• Experience within either a Tier 1 main contractor or architectural consultancy.

• Proven ability to coordinate design and manage subcontractors on large-scale projects.

• Strong technical understanding of design processes, buildability, and compliance.

• Confident working in a fast-paced site environment, based on-site 5 days per week.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
