About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Civil Design Engineer to join our dynamic and growing design team in the heart of Glasgow. You’ll work on a diverse range of modern infrastructure and development projects, collaborating with a forward-thinking group of engineers and designers who are passionate about quality, innovation, and teamwork.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver high-quality civil engineering designs for infrastructure, development, and regeneration projects.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including structural, transport, and environmental engineers.

  • Contribute to the preparation of drawings, specifications, reports, and design calculations.

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Assist in mentoring junior team members and supporting their development.

  • Embrace digital design tools and modern design processes (e.g. Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, BIM integration).

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Working towards Chartered status (ICE or similar) – support provided.

  • Strong technical background in civil infrastructure design (roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities).

  • Proficient in Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and AutoCAD (or equivalent).

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A proactive, positive approach and a genuine passion for great engineering.
