One of Scotland’s most decorated, award winning consultancies are growing their Structural Engineering Design Division. Consistently recognised at the BCO, RIBA and Scottish Design awards my client attracts the top candidates consistently as they deliver multi-million pound developments for high net worth clients and developers.

Their structural design engineers are key to their success and are involved at early stage feasibility and concept design. It is this department that sets the foundation for their winning success.

The client is actively wishing to develop and expand their Structural Engineering department by bringing in experienced Structural Engineers with circa 4 years of experience. This is off the back of several large scale housing projects that they have won therefor they require an enthusiastic engineers to deliver the work going well into next year.

As a business, they are a top tier SME business with offices in both Glasgow and Edinburgh. They are one of the best renowned Consultancies in the Scottish market with they have a great reputation for staff development.


Key Skills:

  • Circa 4 years of Structural Engineering Design of building projects
  • Attend meetings including: site, client, design and supplier
  • Experienced with detailed design stages but with a real interest in feasibility and concept design 
  • Experienced with Timber is essential but Steel and Concrete elements will also be used
  • A flair for problem solving and creative design solutions



  • BEng but preferably Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Desirable to be working towards Chartered stratus with either ICE or IStructE
